Brett represents clients in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, general business law, trademarks and licensing, and real estate.
Prior to joining the MB team in 2006, Brett graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Richmond. He attended law school at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida and graduated cum laude in 2003. While attending law school, he was an active member of the International Law Society, International Moot Court, and served as a Teacher’s Assistant for the International Moot Court Competition Course. He was also a judicial intern for the Honorable Ursula Ungaro in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Brett is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Denver Bar Association, Denver Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, Florida Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He is licensed to practice in Colorado, Florida, and U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
In addition to his legal pursuits, Brett is an avid golfer and enjoys reading about politics and history.
