Anthony A. King is a leading transaction attorney in the Rocky Mountain Region working with business owners in successfully transferring businesses to key employees, family members and third parties, as well as advising business owners on other business issues. Tony joined the firm in 1993 and has been an owner and Director since 1999. His practice centers on mergers and acquisitions, business transitions, corporate and business planning, financings and executive compensation planning.
A graduate in the top of his class with honors from the University of Denver School of Law in 1991, Tony served as general editor of the University of Denver Law Review, and continues to write for publications and teach seminars about business acquisitions and other business issues.
Tony is a member of the Colorado, Denver, and American Bar Associations. Tony previously served as Chairman of the Board for the Better Business Bureau and the Better Business Bureau Education Foundation. He currently serves on the Education Foundation Board for the Better Business Bureau, the Denver Chamber Alumni Association Executive Counsel, and the Colorado Ethics Business Alliance Board. He is also a former member of the Colorado Ethics Business Award Judging Panel. Tony is a member of the Independent Outside Board of Directors, a graduate of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Leadership Denver Program and he has participated in Junior Achievement’s Chairman’s Circle.
